General Booking Conditions

Reservation, Confirmation and Payment Conditions

You can book either via telephone or in writing or just send an e-mail or a fax.
30% of the booking fee must be paid within 3 days as a deposit via bank- or post transaction (no credit cards)
The booking will be confirmed on receipt of the deposit. If the deposit is not paid in time the landlord has the right to rent it to another guest.
The balance of the price of your holiday is due at least 29 days before arrival date. By doing so we have enough time to send you the keys.
For last minute reservation made 29 days or less before arrival date, payment is due in full immediately. In this case your booking will be confirmed on receipt of payment. Then you will get the keys by post.

Arrival and Departure, Curtailing or Extending your stay

If you are unable to take occupation on the day and time reserved due to delays, illness, personal reasons etc. no refund can be made.
Similarly if you have to cut short your holiday no refund can be made for the days unused.
If you want to extend your stay please contact the landlord as soon as possible. At the end of your stay the keys must be left on the table in the kitchen. Please do not take the keys home!

Changes or Cancellation by you

Any changes of your travel arrangement must be communicated to the landlord via post, fax or e-mail. If, however your request a change of accommodation 43 days  before departure date this will be treated as a cancellation and CHF 50.- will be due.
Cancellations received less then 42 days before arrival date, 50% of the holiday cost will be due. Should you arrive later or after or not at all your booked  date, 100 % will be due.
You should take a holiday insurance to cover you against loss or accidents but also to cover against accidental damage to the property or cancellation of your holidays.

Your Liability

Occupation of the property is strictly limited to the number of people as agreed with the landlord. You must take care of the property and contents and respect the local house rules.
You must leave the house in good order and wash and put away all kitchen utensils before your departure. (Because it is not included in the cleaning fees).
If you break or damage anything in the accommodation you must immediately advise the landlord.
You and your party will be liable for the cost of repairs and replacements unless you can prove it was not your responsibility.

Jurisdiction

This contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions which are governed by Swiss Law and both parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of Swiss Courts at all times.
